If you are a planner, you tend to forget that there can be mishaps along the way. These mishaps tend to be extremely unfortunate, for reasons unknown. It will seem like an unlucky incident to any third party, but it becomes a shield to any ray of sunshine. Hopes become despair and expectations become disappointments. This is why many people choose spontaneity over deliberation, and that was how the saying, “expectations lead to disappointments.” came about. How do you not expect something when you’ve always known that innately, you’ve always wanted something? Now, someone else who wants it less may get it just because they have a slight advantage over you because they have better grades. Someone may come along and tell you that they deserve it more than you because you didn’t work hard enough, but what qualifies the criteria of having worked hard?
It’s okay though, it will eventually be. Everything will be fine in the end; if it’s not fine, then it’s not the end.
